Another fun moment from the boutique......
The local fire department had a truck, the captain and two firemen there for kids to see the inside of a firetruck and to talk with the firemen. I took my police tribute picture (Unsung Heros) and my business card over to the firemen. I told them that I draw pictures, and that I would like to do a patriotic line honoring the police and fire fighters of our country. I asked if they would mind being my models and that if they would, I will draw a picture of them and then give it to the station for them, as a thank you. They were so excited and so helpful. They got their official fire fighters gear out and set it up Academy Style on the front of the truck. They explained to my how they fold the coat, set their boots/pants, and helmet and center on the truck front. It looks great. I can't wait to draw that picture. Then they let me take pictures of the three of them holding their helmets. Great shots. Watch for the Fireman tribute to come. I am really excited about these pictures. The fire captain gave me his business card with the firehouse address. Good times. One funny side note, the captain didn't think I was too funny when I asked then to put their helmets on for one of the pictures. He said, "I have my public hair on today, I worked hard on it and now it is going to get messed up with my helmet. Funny stuff, however, he was a great sport and put his helmet on for the picture. Thanks Captain Zeigler, and firemen Durfey and Thorne. You were great sports and very helpful.
